Create a reward

Rewards are what customers redeem their points for — the free drink, the discount, the birthday treat.

Creating one

Merchant Portal → Rewards → Add reward.

Field	What to put
Name	What the customer sees. "Free regular coffee", not "Reward #1".
Type	Percentage off, fixed amount off, free item, or points-only perk.
Value	The discount % or item, depending on type.
Points cost	How many points it takes.
Minimum spend (optional)	e.g. only valid on orders over $10.
Active	On = customers can see and redeem it.

Pricing your rewards

A good starter ladder: small freebie at ~5 visits, medium reward at ~10 visits, big reward at ~20 visits.
Make sure the math works for you: if your average margin per visit is $4 and a reward costs you $2, a 10-visit reward is comfortably profitable.
Group rewards — you can make a reward available only to a group (VIPs only, for example). See Group rewards & redemption limits.

Redeem limits

Set how many times each customer can redeem a reward: once ever, a set number of times, or unlimited. Prevents a popular cheap reward from being farmed.
