1. Who we are
Shop Loyalty is a customer loyalty platform operated by StreamlineSMB (Broward County, Florida). Businesses use Shop Loyalty to run their loyalty programs; their customers use it to check in, earn rewards, and join promotions.
2. What we collect
- Member data — name, phone number, and (optionally) barcode, birthday, and visit history. This is provided by the business you visit or entered by you when you join.
- Location data (opt-in only) — if you enable self check-in with location services, we use your location only to confirm you are physically at the shop while the app is open. Location is used for check-in only and is not stored as a history of your movements.
- Usage data — basic app usage (check-ins, reward claims) so the business can run its program.
3. How we use it
We use member data only to operate the loyalty program of the business you joined: recording visits, awarding points and rewards, and sending program messages the business configures (such as birthday rewards). We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who can see your data
The business you joined can see your member profile and visit history within their program. StreamlineSMB (the platform operator) can access data only for platform operation and support.
5. Data retention
Member data is retained while your membership is active. If you request deletion, or the business removes you from its program, your profile and visit history are deleted. Backups age out within 30 days.
6. Your choices
- Location: self check-in with location is opt-in. You can decline, and you can revoke location permission in your phone settings at any time — staff-assisted check-in still works.
- Messages: you can opt out of program messages by contacting the business or using any unsubscribe link provided.
- Deletion: request deletion of your member profile through the business you joined, or email us at [email protected].
7. Security
Access to the platform is restricted by login, IP allowlisting, and encrypted transport (HTTPS). We back up data securely and test restores.
8. Children
Shop Loyalty is a general-audience loyalty tool. Businesses using it determine their own membership policy. If you believe a child's data was collected improperly, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and post the new version here.
