Every group is defined by rules. Here's the complete list and how they behave.
| Rule | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Visits in last N days | Counted from check-ins only (not signups). |
| Lifetime visits | All-time check-ins. |
| Points balance | Current available points. |
| Lifetime points earned | Total ever earned. |
| Lifetime spend | Total spend recorded (check-in mode: visits × average ticket; POS mode: real spend). |
| Days since signup | Account age. |
| Days since last visit | Recency. |
| Has membership | Active membership on any plan. |
Example: "At-risk regulars" = visits ≥ 4 in last 60 days AND days since last visit ≥ 14. That's people who were coming often but have drifted.
All date-based rules roll forward automatically — "4 visits in the last 28 days" is evaluated against today every time a member is checked or an automation runs. Groups stay current without you touching them.
Groups are rules, not lists — a member enters or leaves a group the moment their data changes. A customer who hits "4 visits in 28 days" becomes a Weekly Regular automatically; when they lapse, they drop out. No maintenance, no stale lists.
